RACE: Are we so different? is open to the public and is free. A tour takes anywhere between 20 minutes for young children and two hours for adults. This exhibit helps communities understand what race is and what it is not, and will offer individual visitors critical tools to recognize race and racism in their own lives.

Mayowood Mansion Tour

A National Historic Site. The home of Drs. CH and CW Mayo. The three-story Italian villa, with various gardens, was home to three generations of the Mayo family. Tour guides relate personal anecdotes while showing the heirloom collectibles and furnishings in each room. Purchase tickets at the entrance gate 20 minutes before the tour. Call for tour availability.
